The Dartplayers Australia stars will align as the players you have seen at the World Series of Darts representing Australia return to local competition at the Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club on September 16 and 17.
This will be a chance to see Alexandra Palace bound Darren Penhall for the last time in 2023 in the DPA Winmau pro series. Others continue to chase places in the DPA order of merit and will use the weekend to warm up for the challenge that presents itself in October as well. With four events over the two days there is plenty of opportunities to see some top quality dart action.
October 20 to 22 will see not only some of Australia’s best players but an invasion of Kiwi talent as the Oceanic Masters will be held at the Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club once more. On the line will be the last local spot for the World Championships of Darts. There will also be Australia and New Zealand test action as the Frampton Stewart Trophy will be on the line for the first tie since the pandemic began. The Kiwi talent was on display at the New Zealand Darts Masters so it is going to be a huge challenge but with the likes of names such as Cuming, Penhall and Kemp competing for spots in the DPA team it is a challenge the Aussies will be up for.
