Selection Clarification for World Cup, Youth, World Championship and NZ Dart Masters.
World Cup Team Selection from 2024
After discussion with the PDC the new qualification process for the World Cup Team will be selected as the top two players from Pro Tour Events 7 – 12 from 2023 and 1 – 6 from 2024. A separate ranking list will be set up on the website as to ensure that all players can clearly see the progress and where they are sitting within these rankings.
World Youth Championship 2023
This will be the top ranked youth on the DPNZ Rankings at the end of Pro Tour 8 in Hamilton on Sunday 14th May 2023.
World Championship Selection from 2024
2023 will see the final year of the Top 16 Play Off.
The PDC want to have consistency with their affiliates throughout the world and it will be the Number 1 ranked player at the end of the 2024 season.
NZ Dart Masters Selection from 2023
Will be the top two players from the 2023 rankings after event eight in Hamilton and then two qualifiers from our play-offs on July 1 and 2 in Christchurch.
