Representative darts returns to the DPA oche later in the year as DPA’s finest take on some of DPNZ’s top stars as the Frampton Stewart Trophy is played out for the first time since 2019.
Australia are current holders of the trophy having won 43-19 in 2019. Prior to that New Zealand had won 33-24 on Australian soil winning it back for the Kiwis after Russell Stewart had captained the Aussies to a victory in 2017. The Kiwis won in 2015 and 2016 to hold a 3-2 lead over the last five times the tournament was played.
This year the Australians will be captained by Daniel Sim and will be made up of the top four ranked Aussies on the DPA order of merit. The test match will be played on the weekend of the Oceanic Masters in October 2023 at the Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club
