Once again Madars Razma proved himself good on the PDC Pro Tour, as he reached the quarter-finals at the Players Championship 3.
Madars Razma got a fine start to the 2023 season, as he reached the round of 64 at Players Championship 1 and the round of 32 at Players Championship 2.
However, it got even better this weekend, as he went all the way to the quarter-finals at Players Championship 3.
The Latvian started of by beating Kevin Burness in the first round, before he won against Radek Szaganski, Scott Waites and Danny Noppert in the next three rounds. In the quarter-final he was going up against Gabriel Clemens.
The German went ahead bu 5-0 before Madars Razma managed to win a leg, and even though he also took the next two legs, Gabriel Clemens has got himself in such a good position that he could secure the win by 6-3.
The Nordic and Baltic region were also represented by Darius Labanauskas at Players Championship 3, but the Lithuanian already lost in the first round against Radek Szaganski.
On Sunday at Players Championship 4, Madars Razma managed to win the first round once again, but this time he lost already in the second round, as he was beaten 6-4 by Robbie Knops.
And just as the day before, Darius Labanauskas once again lost in the first round, as Robert Owen won the match by 6-5.
The third Tour Card holder from our region, Vladimir Andersen, decided to play at the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour this weekend, and therefore he was not present at the two events.
Players Champioonship 3 was won by Kim Huybrechts and Players Championship 4 was won by Dirk van Duijvenbode.
