Dubbo NSW set for 8 days of Darting Action with launch of the Mens and Ladies DPA Super Series
The 2021 DPA Winmau ALH Super Series will take place at the Macquarie Inn Dubbo from Saturday October 16 until Saturday October 23
“With the ongoing effects of the Corona Pandemic still upon us unfortunately the Australasian Championships will be held over until 2022 and or 2023 when vaccines between Australia and New Zealand have been rolled out successfully” stated Kevin Berlyn Chairman of the DPA
“Due to the economic environment we find ourselves in with some restrictions still in effect, domestic airfares at an all-time high, domestic flight availability and employment only just returning to what will now be a COVID normal, the DPA management Team had to make a hard call and decided that to honour the contract with ALH in Dubbo, we would instead make this period of time a Super Series as such to engage with as many players from across Australia and New Zealand as possible.”
The Super Series will see the return of the Australian Open for both Mens and Ladies on Saturday October 16 along with the Mens and Ladies Russell Stewart Classic on Sunday October 17 for the first time since the pandemic hit.
