Simon Whitlock won PDC Home Tour III Group Four with a flawless display of six victories on Monday.
The Australian dominated proceedings by winning all six games in the home-broadcast event, twice averaging 99 and only seeing Krzysztof Kciuk take him to a deciding leg.
Four players ended the day with three wins apiece, with Hong Kong’s Kai Fan Leung, Germany’s Martin Schindler and the English duo of James Wilson and Richard North winning half of their games.
Former World Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd picked up two victories, while Kciuk’s only win of the day came in the opening fixture as he edged out Leung 4-3.
The home-broadcast action continues on Tuesday with Group Five, with the stars in action including Krzysztof Ratajski.
The PDC Home Tour III will be broadcast live in PDCTV, as well as via bookmakers’ websites worldwide, from 0930 GMT.
